A sudden craving for Unagi brings us to this store 1st impression when we go, it seems really old. Even the customers that comes in are mostly elderly Surprisingly, the eel was good, the rice is nicely cook. (Felt like home-cooked) And the best part, when we ordered Chawanmushi, they cook on the spot. Overall, I will give it a 4 star!
View on GoogleThis place was amazing. Super fresh food, impeccable service, fun staff, the best sushi I have ever had.
View on GoogleA small unagi specialty restaurant close to Shinjuku station. We had lunch that came with pickle vegetables as side. Eel was grilled upon order, so waiting time is needed. Delicious yet rather pricey, just like all eel dishes.
View on Googlean Unagi restaurant sitting in the heart of Shinjuku Taste: Average Price: Above Average, I ordered Matsu Unagi for 5000 JPY. Service: unfortunately, I experienced not so good service from the restaurant. I asked politely for wasabi and an old lady didn’t accept my request and expressed a sign of upset to me. cash only
View on GoogleAmazing unagi! A little pricey but worth it - the unagi box came with rice, 3 large pieces of unagi, and broth on the side. Cold green tea was free, but they have beer, lemon sours, etc. The staff don’t speak much English but were very nice, it seems to be a small, family-run spot.
