Amazing staff. Amazing service. Delicious food !
View on GoogleA yakitori izakaya along Gaien-higashi-dori between Akebonobashi and Yotsuya-sanchome. It seems to have been slightly renovated, and I was thrown off by the changed kitchen and seating layout, but it has a calm atmosphere with a few counter seats and tables, and an experienced staff member showed me in. The menu has everything from yakitori to individual dishes and dishes to finish the meal, so I struggle to choose every time, but I ordered 【せせりポン酢】680円【とり天】980円【ねぎ間】390円【つくね】390円【せせり】300円+drinks, and they started arriving one by one after about 5 minutes. The perfectly grilled chicken neck was topped with ponzu and coarsely grated daikon. The acidity of the ponzu, the umami of the soy sauce, and the bitterness and freshness of the daikon brought out the full savory flavor of the chicken neck meat. It was delicious. The chicken tempura had a sauce like sweet-and-sour pork and a vegetable sauce poured over it, but I enjoyed the extremely crispy coating and nicely textured chicken, which went well with beer. Dipping it into the leftover grated-daikon ponzu from the chicken neck dish turned it into the chicken tempura with grated-daikon ponzu popular in western Japan, which was enjoyable too. After that, the compulsory shumai appetizer finally arrived. It had a soft texture with sweetness from mixed ground meat and onions. Since it was already seasoned, I ate it as it was, and it was plenty delicious. The yakitori took quite a while, perhaps because it came from the specialist yakitori restaurant on 2F. At nearly 400円 a skewer, the price is that of a specialist restaurant, but I could clearly taste the jidori chicken's umami and the fragrant grilling, and enjoyed it. It's so popular, especially on weekends, that you can't get in without a reservation, but the portions and flavor definitely felt like good value. I'd like to keep coming back to try various dishes, including seasonal ones.
View on GoogleThe interior is casual and comfortable, with an easygoing atmosphere where you can enjoy yourself without any fuss. The compulsory shumai appetizer is fantastic! The dishes are very satisfying in both appearance and flavor. They're well-seasoned without being too heavy, and the selection pairs well with alcohol. Being able to enjoy fresh vegetables is another lovely bonus!
View on GoogleWe visited as our second stop of the evening. We were going to どろまみれ, but it was their regular day off, so we came to キッチン どろまみれ!! It was our first visit, but the atmosphere and the staff's pleasant, comfortable service really made us glad we came! Every dish was delicious, and when we told the staff this was our second stop, they asked how hungry we were before giving recommendations. They were wonderfully thoughtful! The yakitori and vegetables were delicious, so next time I'd like to come here first and try more dishes!! The interior also felt clean, so I thought it would be perfect for a date!
View on GoogleSince どろまみれ on the 2nd floor was closed, I returned here for the first time in several years! Apparently it had been renovated, and the interior had become very stylish✨ Since this was our second stop, we ordered lightly, but everything was delicious and there were so many other tempting menu items…🥺 Next time I'll come hungry (๑•̀ ᴗ •́๑)و ̑̑
