A soba restaurant with delicious broth! Its delicate aroma holds a deep flavor. On days when that depth seems faint, it makes me realize my sense of taste is a little dulled. It may not suit those who prefer strong, salty broth. It's popular enough that you may wait a little during the lunch rush, 12:00〜13:00. Turnover is fairly quick. Prices are a little higher than at casual places, but considering the quality, they even feel inexpensive. I recommend kake soba in autumn and winter. The vibrant, richly acidic aroma of the katsuobushi dashi is soothing. The kaki soba, available only in the colder season, is good too. Plump oysters with a nicely balanced accent of mitsuba aroma. It warms both body and soul. Oyster and gobo kake soba Crispy shungiku tempura too. The texture of the gobo is comforting. As always, the acidity of the warm kake soba broth is soothing. Since I tend to order the same dishes, I'm grateful for a wide selection. I also love the seasonal kakiage. In summer, sudachi soba is my only choice. A sip of the broth sends a delightful sensation through my whole body. The wonderfully balanced, dashi-rich broth pairs exquisitely with the refreshing acidity and pleasant slight bitterness of sudachi. In 2025, it started on 5/19(月). The last time I saw it on the menu was in month 9. I'm looking forward to it in 2026 too. The evening menu is appealing as well. Thank you for the meal. 11:00〜14:30 last order 17:00〜21:00 last order Closed Saturday evenings, Sundays and holidays ※Open Saturday lunchtime

5 minutes from 信濃町 and under 10 minutes from 四谷三丁目. This soba restaurant on 外苑東通り is an independently run offshoot of 神田尾張屋, making its soba by hand on-site. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming even for women dining alone. I arrived early, so it was still quiet, but this popular restaurant quickly filled up. There are many dishes and an extensive selection of sets. Even the sets aren't particularly expensive, and I think the prices are reasonable. What I had that day (tax included) ・Lunch ten seiro set 1232円 A set of seiro soba with chicken, fish, soft-boiled egg, and vegetable tempura. The soba was thinly cut, smooth going down, fragrant, and delicious. The dipping broth was just the right strength. The soft-boiled egg tempura came with a note warning that its contents might burst out. Indeed, the soft yolk could burst out if you're not mindful. The chicken, pumpkin, maitake, white fish, and other tempura were crisp and delicious. At checkout, I received a discount coupon for next time in a cute little envelope, which made it feel special. I'd like to visit again.

I visited for dinner. A single serving of seiro at 660円 is the cheapest option, but there's so little soba that I think only light eaters would be satisfied. A large serving costs an extra 330円, but even then it isn't what I'd call large. It may not suit people who prioritize value. However, the tempura is exceptionally delicious. The pumpkin is sweet, and the shrimp clearly aren't ordinary shrimp: they're large and wonderfully plump. That justifies the high price. There is also a notice for guests with children, showing consideration for a peaceful dining experience, which I liked.

A restaurant with delicious soba. I imagine the soba with toppings is probably good too. The interior is clean, but somehow it wasn't comfortable. When I stepped through the entrance curtain and said “Good evening,” the staff member's stern gaze pierced me. Perhaps that's why the restaurant was quiet when I visited at night. My eyes fell on a small notice requesting consideration from guests with children. I paid with a thousand-yen note, and they handed back my change as if dropping it into my palm, making my impression even worse. They should use a tray or stop accepting cash. The soba is delicious. I understood that notice to represent everything about this place. Replace the dining-room staff and remove the notice, and people would queue here. With the soba maker's skills being so high, it's endlessly disappointing. The photos show a three-variety soba platter and kake soba. The platter is sized for after drinking; it was small, so I added kake soba. At a place with good soba, the sobayu is good too. But I won't return or recommend it to anyone. A once-in-a-lifetime encounter; some days are like that.

The interior isn't very large; it's small and compact. The soba is pricier than at nearby places. I had tamago toji, but the dashi wasn't especially strong and the flavor was light. I was pleased it came with kuro shichimi. The soba itself is delicious, so seiro might have been the right choice. The service was very pleasant. I appreciated being able to pay with PayPay. All prices included tax.
