A great soba restaurant, with other good dishes on the menu such as tempura, grilled duck and walnut mochi desert. A good selection of Fukui sake (from a wine and sake sommelier). They have a particular type of soba in a daikon sauce which is very unique and enjoyable. Service is good and efficient.
View on GoogleIt’s house in an old nice traditional house and seems frequented by locals only and so I had high expectations For the normal cha soba, but it ok and same with the tempura being average as taste abit oily They’re supposed to be famous for their soba in radish soup of which I didn’t appreciate it at all. Also add on for the spicy radish option but I find it so nothing and also not spicy. Saw many others order sashimi instead so perhaps better to try that
View on GoogleWe had a delicious dinner here of cold soba with shrimp and vegetable tempura, and an appetizer of pickles. The restaurant is off the main street, very pleasant atmosphere, great service, and they had room for us right away when we came in at about 20:30. I would highly recommend!
View on GoogleI knew they were good and I only had to reconfirm it. The crab…oh…my….god! It’s seasonal - hurry!
