I've visited several times. To put it simply: “Delicious! Generous! Fun!” First, the seasonal vegetable salad is outstanding. I really want everyone to try it. It completely changed my idea of salad. It's piled high with chunky pieces of fresh vegetables. It's fun just to look at, and the textures are fun too. They create a harmony in your mouth (haha) I always order this salad and one main dish, and the main dish portions are incredible too. There's so much meat, but the amount of garnishes (more vegetables) is every bit as impressive! They'll give you a takeaway container if you ask, so my recommendation is to order a large portion of rice, then pack up the leftovers. I often have them for lunch the next day (haha) I think one visit will get you hooked(^^)

A great little restaurant run by a well-traveled woman who cooks Japanese dishes and food from various countries. The dishes aren't expensive, and there's a 540¥ lunch menu. You can book the place privately for evening gatherings, and she also makes cocktails and coffees. The restaurant is full of little souvenirs she has collected on her travels. And a little bonus: she speaks a bit of English.

The rooftop garden here was once featured on the Global Vision program “Gardens of the World.” Ever since noticing it on a walk, I'd been curious about the shop on the 1st floor. During the day it's a penny-candy shop where neighborhood children gather, and at night it's like a café bar. The food was delicious, but the regulars' cigarette smoke was so intense that I left.
