ジンギスカン 兜屋Jingisukan Kabutoya
Kabutoya's proud “4 Commitments” that no other shop can imitate. Kabutoya's Jingisukan is packed with overwhelming “craftsman's determination,” disregarding efficiency and effort. We will introduce the 4 secrets that support the deliciousness that customers are unanimous in being surprised by. ① “Long-term aging” of over 1 month. We are pioneers who introduced the concept of aging to Jingisukan. Through years of experience and thorough temperature and humidity management, we have achieved long-term aging of over 1 month. It maximizes the potential of lamb meat and explodes with deep umami. ② “Iron plate” raised for 21 years. Using high-quality iron from the past, we carefully maintain it by hand for 1 hour every day for 21 years. The finest iron plate where the oil has soaked in to the limit is…

Visited Jingisukan Kabutoya in Shinjuku — one of my go-to spots for delicious lamb. The quality is consistently excellent, so I find myself coming back regularly. This time I ordered the special shoulder loin, Hokkaido lamb chops, Southdown rib loin, and lamb tongue. Every cut was incredibly fresh with a clean, rich aroma that shows just how well the lamb is handled here. The shoulder loin was especially tender and juicy, packed with pure lamb flavor. Even after eating plenty, the bill comes to around ¥10,000 per person, making it a very approachable place considering the quality. If you love lamb or want to try top-tier jingisukan in Tokyo, Kabutoya is always a satisfying choice.
View on GoogleIt was intimidating to walk into because no one knows mutton and lamb very well in Japan. But it was delicious and the services was great. The staff were very nice and explained the dishes well.
View on Google2hours seating was promised but were kicked out right after eating food. In addition, too many restrictions. Food itself was good but will never come back again, service too poor.
View on GoogleExcellent bbq and very attentive and caring service. Quality and taste of meat very good. Would recommend and will come back!
View on GoogleI love lamb and visit various shops in Tokyo, but this shop was top-class delicious among them. The meat was incredibly tender, had no smell, and I was impressed! Especially, the Australian shoulder loin and the sirloin from Shintoku-cho, Hokkaido were exquisite. The lamb chops and hamburger are also very satisfying. The mutton provided as a service was also of such high quality that I thought it was different from what I had eaten before, and it left an impression. Overall, the taste of the meat itself was wonderful, and I felt it was better to eat with Himalayan salt than sauce. This is a shop I definitely want to visit again ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🔷Course received [Special] Hokkaido special aged lamb (King of sheep Southdown, famous sheep Suffolk) & special highest grade brand Suffolk live lamb hogget & 8 types of aged lamb selected by Suffolk Taisho + lamb chop + 10 types of lamb hamburger course 🔷Red wine
