The best sound quality I've experienced in Tokyo was here. The jazz music selection by the owner is incredible, and hearing it from this beast of a sound system setup, especially in such a small space, makes the experience so much more memorable.

I visited this place after lunch on a weekday. It had a very comfortable atmosphere. It's a remarkably jazzy and beautiful space. The sound equipment is set up exceptionally well, allowing for great audio quality. The owner and their spouse are incredibly friendly and treat guests with great etiquette. I also find the prices for coffee or tea very reasonable. If there's a jazz cafe like this near my home, I think I would visit every day. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Tokyo.

A hidden gem. I walked in by coincidence and found it so lovely. The music is played on vinyl and the owner has very good taste on music. There’s no talking, just music. Really enjoyed my quiet hour there. Btw the place is a little hard to find as it’s very unassuming.

Went here earlier this year around January if I recall correctly. One of the requirements for Professors Molaskys “Jazz” Class was to visit this kisaten close to Waseda Campus. Being the only female student in there surrounded by much older gentlemen, I felt intimidated and that I stood out like a sore thumb. However, the owner was so kind and attentive. We made small talk, and he was so sweet to ask me if I wanted to take a photo of the LP rather than writing it down every time he changed it. He even takes requests! One of the older gentleman would stand up every so often and ask the owner for an album request. It’s such a great atmosphere and I thought the detail of famous Jazz artist’s photos being edited with them wearing masks for their signs was such a great touch! I spent two hours here and the hot chocolate was actually great! I didn’t realize the portions of the peanuts I ordered would be big lol so I had them takeaway instead.

If you love hearing jazz on vinyl played on a great sound system with a friendly owner this is the place for you. We enjoyed Dave Brubeck, John Coltrane and Miles Davis. Highly recommended for serious jazz lovers.
