This was so so cool even as a forgeiner. The cost is 500 yen or 3 usa dollars per person. But it is so worth it. You can stand on the olympic podium and wear a gold medal for the olympic 1954 (?). If you are a solo traveler the helpers at the musuem will help with taking photos for you or with some of the interaction that require two people. After done in the musuem right outside is the cauldron.

This was really wonderful for a nervous solo traveller! Affordable and great value for money offered - leave around 2 hours to explore if you want the full experience. Perfect destination for an Olympic enthusiast or general sports fan - especially the interactive jump/balance/synchro games. The immersive theatre and customised pictogram coffees were lovely touches too!

One of the best museums that I have been in Japan. It is quite small and it has two floors. The staff were very friendly and the tickets are in a very good price 500¥ and high school children are free.
