We visited kagurazaka and while the river looked nice and the small streets had a charm many of the eatries and coffee shops were either chains or not that appealing. Checking Google Itteru Coffe appeared as a good recommendation. We took sometime to find as on the 4th floor and easy to miss hence some of my photos. We entered and were warmly welcomed and the menu explained to us. Now I am no coffee expert but I chose The Brazilian and others in the parties selected the house blend. We were asked how we wanted our coffee and then watched the coffee be prepared both hot and cold the various members of our group had chosen. I will let you enjoy watching and experiencing what is a lovely coffee ceremony. This is not your local barista who is trying to rush the order as best they can. So do not rush your visit to Itteru all good things take time and your be rewarded for your patience. Our food and coffee was lovingly served to us and wow the coffee and all three sweets we ordered were just so Oishi. The lack of sugar, milk and toppings disappointed one member nof our party but everyone else were not bothered on the slightest once they had tastesntheirbdrink and sweet. I had due to arriving a few days in Japan and a little jetlagged already drunk two strong coffees and was thinking blimey how will I be after my pot of coffee? I was expecting mild headaches, the lot and no I was fine. I could of had another pot serving but sadly we had to move on as other places to visit. So In summary if you want a lovely Coffee served with loving care and warmth then visit Itteru of you a tight schedule and not to fussed as long as the coffe turns up fast and has all the extras then Starbucks or one of the chains is better for you.
