View on GoogleVisited at lunchtime. There's a wide selection of set meals, led by the daily specials. Various combo menus too. Everything you want from a neighborhood Chinese restaurant is here. Despite this atmosphere (sorry), they support QR ordering. I chose their most popular dish, mala knife-cut noodles(1,000円). The complimentary paper apron was a nice touch. When the bowl arrived, the irregular shapes of the clearly handmade noodles raised my expectations. One slurp revealed an incredibly chewy texture, with the soup clinging well for a thoroughly satisfying mouthful. If this is a regular serving, the free large serving must literally be “large.” I can't imagine the extra-large serving for +100円. The raw red chilies hidden in the soup delivered a fresh, piercing heat. I ordered extra spicy, but wanted it even hotter. The numbing element was on the lighter side, which was a little unsatisfying. That aside, the service here is truly pleasant. Their little remarks made me happy, and both the paper apron mentioned earlier and the cold-water refill were perfectly timed. One of the top places I'm happy to have in the neighborhood. I'll be a regular. Thank you for the meal.
