We had a very enjoyable dinner at Hitsuji Lodge in Nishi-Waseda, and the biggest highlight was their unique 2-in-1 lamb dining setup. The special pan lets you grill Jingisukan-style lamb in the center while enjoying lamb shabu-shabu and vegetables around the outside at the same time. It made the meal feel much more interactive and interesting than a standard yakiniku dinner. We tried the Lodge Course, which included several different lamb dishes, including fresh lamb Jingisukan, lamb shabu-shabu, and lamb with cilantro. The quality of the lamb was very good, with different cuts offering different textures and flavors. What made the experience especially memorable was the staff. They explained how each cut should be cooked and the best way to eat it, which made the dinner feel more personal and helped us enjoy the lamb properly. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, and there is also a second-floor space that works well for larger groups, dinners with friends, or company gatherings. If you enjoy lamb and are looking for something a little different from the usual Tokyo yakiniku experience, this is a restaurant worth trying. A very fun and satisfying lamb dinner in Tokyo.

This place serves delicious food and prices are definitely not expensive at all. If you plan to get a few drinks, it’s definitely worth getting the drink all you can plan too~! Each serving of food is not plenty, but there’s a variety of dishes, if you get the course meal. They have 2 options for these. However, they also serve various dishes a la carte. Service is also very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

We had the dinner course for ¥3900 and it was incredible!!! Every single dish including side dishes had an amazing taste. Also, it really feels like a lodge so it’s a very cozy place to go to.

Quality of the food was good, staff and atmosphere were also quite nice. However, the meat was a bit bland (though you are supposed to taste the actual lamb). Overall very good for small groups and highly recommended.
