I really enjoyed the sushi here at Himawari Sushi Shintoshin. It had that authentic feel I was hoping for, and the quality stood out right away. I also appreciated that the menu was in English, which made ordering easy, and it was nice being able to ask for items that weren’t already on the belt. Cash only was a small inconvenience, but the overall experience was well worth it.
View on GoogleBelieve it or not, AI recommended this place. It’s a cozy spot hidden along a busy street. The food was excellent, with the familiar conveyor‑belt style you’d expect. The sushi was noticeably fresher and better than what I get back home. Very solid experience, perfect for first‑time sushi fans.
View on GoogleA nice conveyor belt sushi experience! It was quite busy when we came on a Wednesday around 7PM but we only had to wait for 10-15 min. Limited space, which is to be expected for this type of dining experience, so I would avoid bringing excess bags or bulky coats if possible. It was quite warm and fishy-smelling in there. You can either order directly to the chef or use the conveyor belt. They were already preparing most items that we wanted anyway so we did the latter. We ended up spending around 4500¥ for two people which was a great deal for all the food we got! Make sure you bring enough cash :)
View on GoogleWe wandered into Himawari Sushi Shintoshin around 1:30pm looking to try conveyor belt sushi for the first time, and it exceeded every expectation. The sushi was excellent — notably better, in fact, than the sit-down restaurant we'd had the previous evening. The format is half the fun: grab whatever catches your eye from the belt, or place custom orders for something specific. We did both, and kept going until we genuinely couldn't eat another piece. Two drinks and as much sushi as we could manage: 3,680 yen — $23. Remarkable value for food that good. Highly recommend.
View on GoogleExcellent sushi without a giant line Came here for lunch after shopping at the local bookstore and was pleasantly surprised. This is where a bunch of locals office workers are going for lunch. The selection was very nice and thoroughly and enjoyed it.
