Firstly, you need to choose wisely your meal, do not simply judge based on your preferences.. For me, the meal is so delicious and tasty. The karaage very nice, the meat also very trendy and juicy, grilled steak and beef pasta + sticky rice. Nice one! The area can cater for single traveller or with family. Have toilet but no prayer area. But nevermind, I am more than satisfied. Looking for halal foods near Shinjuku? I recommend here also. Near to Uniqlo Shibuya.

Cosy hamburg steak specialty shop. The beef is advertised as halal. Deco is simple. Service is decent and quite fast. We had low expectations but were surprised when the hamburg steak was actually pretty good in taste and quality. Our meals were also served with complimentary rice and soup. On average its a 3 star place but on a new years eve, we didn't have to wait for a table and the rest of the tables were local Japanese, and with an average per pax of JPY1,500, they deserve a 4 star from me. Only drawback is the ventilation is not good, you will leave smell like the hamburg steak you just had. Worth the visit though.

Tried the Hamburg steak large set, it was served with a daily soup and rice which wasn't in the picture. We stopped in and it was full, the seating is very limited as they only had 4 tables. We ate some ramen elsewhere and came back. The steak was okay, it was cooked well and they give you a say sauce dip for flavour. The actual steak was a bit bland alonth with the pasta that was paired with it. The beef is advertised as halal, and when asked they said everything is halal. Just like the other reviews, the restaurant is run by foreigners who know Japanese. Service wasn't really the best as it felt they just wanted us to eat quickly and leave. Not like we took long anyways. Alhamdulillah.

Food is not that great imo. After eating at many halal or halal friendly restaurants last 2wks, this doesn't come out tops. We took the large portion meal. Indeed it was huge. Will suggest small or medium if you are not super hungry. Staff are not locals. Constantly chatting in their native language, louder than the Spanish or Italian music in the background (Telling this for the owner to rectify this)

The lady at the front is always playing phone on the back room. She didn’t listen to my orders properly. I said M and she replied S. Although I said it clearly M size. And when the food is coming from downstairs the server doesn’t know which table to serve, and the lady who is taking the order didn’t help navigate the order to the right table because she’s busy with her phone. And when my food came it’s already cold unlike next table that is still sizzling hot. My rice was also served earlier before the hamburg came. Leave it cold as well when eaten together with the hamburg that came later. Maybe I came during peak hours and the restaurant serve it in batch for convenience but not for the freshness. Price-wise is good.
