A little bit style over substance at the moment. The cafe is beautiful with great views as you can see from the photos but there are quite a few difficulties they need to overcome. Firstly, and most problematic, when I ordered a latte, they said they had run out of milk... Surely that is one of the most important things for a cafe to have. I asked for soy milk instead and the staff spent 30 seconds deciding if it was OK to use soy milk. The staff serving me was really nice, and gave a free chocolate with the latte which was a nice touch. The blinds were open and it was really sunny so it was quite hot. After a while, the staff realised and lowered the blinds. I should have done it myself but I didn't notice. The coffee was average at best. I don't think they use an espresso machine but anyway, it's for chocolate based drinks instead of coffee. After a few months, when the staff get a bit more experience, I am sure they will get better. For now it's a 2.5 stars but I have it 3 just because the staff were kind.
View on GoogleThe food is healthy, gorgeous, and very tasty. It’s also surprisingly good value. The chocolate on a marble coaster — part of the lunch set — is a nice touch. Got the grilled chicken salad, and a salmon open sandwich.
View on GoogleFood options are very limited. You can’t eat there: - Breakfast food options are small and stop passed 11 am. You can only get croissant. - lunch has only 2 plates, which were not available when I came. - the regular size drink is the size of a western happy meal drink: you basically pay around 900¥ for 3 sips. The staff was nice though, it was the only positive thing.
View on GoogleQuiet cafe around Iidabashi. They won’t give you water if you don’t ask for it. Not many charger if you wanna work here. Hot chocolate drink is my favorite.
View on GoogleThis place is all about the vibes. Pretty generous seating and nice views of the river. A cute date spot to grab a drink during the afternoon.
