My family recently visited Ginza Lion Beer Hall for their 120-minute all-you-can-eat dinner (¥4,480 per adult, tax included). While the pricing is very reasonable for Shinjuku—where premium courses often double that elsewhere—the meat quality was unfortunately underwhelming. Both the beef and pork lacked depth and flavor, falling below the standard we expected for the average price point. The standout of the meal was actually the chicken karage (part of the all you can eat menu). It was exceptionally crispy and flavorful; clearly a specialty from their bar kitchen downstairs (700 yens for 2 pieces, if you purchase it from the bar below). One significant drawback was the ventilation. The dining area became quite smoky, which made our eyes uncomfortable throughout the meal. On a positive note, the service was excellent. Every staff member was attentive and professional. To summarize, please elevate the ventilation and BBQ meat quality. Thanks!

This is a beer hall with 5 floors of restaurants serving different types of food. I went to the fifth floor for Japanese sushi and karaage. The menu is the familiar Japanese fare- sushi, salads, grilled fish, fried chicken but it is cooked well and delicious. Locals like to dine here too which is a good sign.

We visited in the evening after making a reservation. Historical appreciation and food is what interested us the most. The servers were all very friendly and everything was done on an iPad in English so there was no need to worry. We had some fries, karrage, bratwurst and Sapporo. When we had finished we just took the iPad to the clerk and paid on the card machine. We found the reservation and meal was very accommodating.

The drinking atmosphere here is great. If you order an extra-large boot-shaped beer, the staff will even cheer for you. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a drink after work!

We came here, went on to the 4th Floor to all you can eat. We didn’t know what to do, how to order and how everything works. So they explained us. Thank you. We ordered just as much as we could eat. We ate all. All the ingredients were good specially the meat. Beer was good too. Clean place and not crowded. Perfect location. Nice service. If given the chance, we would definitely go back.
