This is an approachable set-meal restaurant on a backstreet in 東新宿. I visited for lunch, and the set meals were ・生姜焼き ・唐揚げ ・鶏の照り焼き ・鮭の西京漬け ・the daily special at ¥1000 each I ordered the daily special, which was generous and tasty. This is a very welcome spot in 東新宿, a barren land for lunch options.

The photo shows the 鮭西京焼き set meal. It was delicious. Besides classic set meals such as karaage and shogayaki, there are daily specials too. The price is a flat 950円, including coffee after the meal. It comes with small side dishes as well as salad, so it's good value and handy when you're a little concerned about nutrition with just rice and a main dish.

The karaage has a nostalgic taste and is delicious. The side dishes are a welcome touch too

A restaurant run by a pleasant parent and child. I had the daily “鮭のちゃんちゃん焼き” set meal, which packed a flavorful punch. The simmered daikon was delicious too, and the white rice went down so easily it was gone in no time. I'll visit again.
