A very nice museum! I was looking for stamps and the app led me here and was unexpectedly surprised (in a good way)! U got in because of the stamps but ended up doing a tour on all floors, because it was really interesting, the workers were all very kind and polite as well! Recommend for people in the area, it's free entry!
View on GoogleWow! This is a fantastic place to see the history of Tokyo fire department and a great place to take the kids to experience fire safety with lots of interactive displays. They have lots of past a present fire apparatus and various other equipment as well. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They apparently is a place you can go outside but was closed due to the rain. This is in a fire station building but that part is off limits. They have a small gift shop at the end. I’m surprised this isn’t advertised more as it is a great museum and I will definitely be back.
View on GoogleAn amazing free museum with tons of fun (and hands-on!) exhibits. :) I didn't brave the line to sit inside the helicopter, but posing for pics in the old fire truck was hilarious. Upper floors have a lot of cool old-timey equipment, as well as a firefighting Harley Davidson from a century ago. 😎 The educational displays were informative and occasionally hilarious. Great way to spend 2-3 hours!
View on GoogleA must do for firefighters & firefighter wanna-bes like our 4yo. He was thrilled! He was beaming from ear to ear. It was also super interesting how the firefighting methods started in Japan and how it evolved over the years. It was so cool that they still have the old chariots & uniforms! The helicopter on the rooftop was a highlight! There were alot of interactive things to do too. So fun for the whole family!
View on GoogleA cool place to visit. My dad was a fire-fighter in Canada so I was curious to see some history here. My daughter loved the interactive exhibitions and we found the information interesting.
