We found Dona Italian Restaurant near the station, and it turned out to be the perfect final meal of our trip. One big advantage was that it’s open at lunchtime, which isn’t always easy to find. From the moment we sat down, everything exceeded our expectations. The pasta was absolutely delicious—rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. The pizza had a nice Japanese-Italian fusion touch (we tried one with salmon), which worked surprisingly well. The spicy chicken dish wasn’t traditional Italian either, but again, the fusion approach made it incredibly tasty. The wine selection was also impressive—we even found a high-quality organic wine, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this was the best Italian restaurant we tried in Japan. A great mix of authentic flavors and creative fusion. A perfect way to end our Tokyo trip—highly recommended.
View on GoogleLegitimately first rate Italian food. I wish this place were next to my apartment in NYC. The fresh pesto was some of the best I’ve had outside of Italy. And the pasta was perfection. After devouring a bowl of pasta with meat sauce each, my kids shared the lamb chops and even those were quite good. The fresh baked foccacia was excellent for sopping up the sauces. And the tiramusu was creamy and delicious (if a little light on the lady fingers). If you need a break from Japanese food, you couldn’t do better than Dona. So glad we stumbled into this place!
View on GoogleI had a wonderful experience at this Italian restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially loved the cold pasta dishes because they were refreshing, perfectly seasoned, and full of fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian cuisine, and I look forward to visiting again. ☺️
View on GoogleThis cute little place is comforting and the food is delicious. I had the mentaiko pasta it was fantastic! Genuinely a great dish with perfect flavors. Shiso is so fantastic with Italian dishes, it's related to basil!
