Now I feel like I'm in real Tokyo! This is a non-touristy, late night, local spot. People are still arriving after midnight. Food is very authentic, freshly prepared and excellent. The food menu is in Japanese and English, but the drinks menu is Japanese only, so have your Google Translate ready. The server was friendly and helpful. She also spoke English and Chinese. The menu options are all small portions. We ordered many different items, like a tapas restaurant, but you could also just get multiples. There are a couple of blackboards with daily or seasonal specials. I'd go back again in a flash. Note that this place is cash-only, but amazing value for money.

Girlfriend flew in late and needed a late night dinner spot. So glad we chose this spot as I had initially suggested we have something else. Chef kept the vibes up and spoke a bit of English. Absolutely best yakigushi (skewer) I’ve ever had. Restaurant was only filled with locals and prices were a lot cheaper than other places I’ve been to. If you’re looking for that hole-in-the-wall you dreamt of, this is it. I hope you all enjoy as much as I did.

This is a great little Yakitori place not far from our hotel. Between their English language food menu and Google Lens for the drinks menu, we had no trouble ordering. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great. I never thought I would be able to go to a local neighborhood restaurant and have this kind of wonderful experience but we did. We will probably go back before our trip is over.
