Dessert Restaurant Opera Shinjuku Tokyo / Afternoon Tea Cafe
Beautiful scenery from 264m above ground x impressive desserts to enjoy with all five senses. Dessert restaurant "OPERA" was born on the top floor of Tokyo Opera City. What we aim for is a dessert that moves your heart the moment you eat it. For that, we value identifying the true charm of the ingredients, drawing it out, and combining them so they resonate. We use at most 3 ingredients. We believe that essential deliciousness resides after stripping away the excess.

A good place to have an afternoon tea! so sweet and delicious dessert 🍮, staffs all is so nice 😊
View on GoogleBlissful afternoon tea activity at a sky restaurant 53rd floor of "Tokyo Opera City", a skyscraper complex directly connected to Hatsudai Station. Afternoon tea at the dessert restaurant "OPERA" born inside the wedding venue "OPERAHOUSE Tokyo"❤️ This restaurant is attached to a wedding venue, and it starts with an approach that combines holiness and glamour, passing through the chapel and climbing the stairs. Once you step into the store, a sophisticated and dignified non-routine space spreads out, a luxurious location suitable for enjoying a special experience forgetting the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku✨ In the spacious store, there are also table seats by the window where you can see the superb view in front of your eyes. The 180-degree panorama from 264m above ground looking down from the large window is impressive🥹✨ You can overlook the Tokyo cityscape such as the Shinjuku skyscrapers and the metropolitan government building, and a superb view where you can even see Mt. Fuji on a sunny day or when the air is clear🗻 This time, I enjoyed the "Matcha x Hojicha Afternoon Tea" for a limited time. Many top-notch desserts carefully prepared by talented pastry chefs✨ The content is irresistible for matcha lovers, where you can luxuriously enjoy the delicate Japanese-style taste woven by the bitterness of matcha and the fragrant aroma of hojicha using all five senses in the open space of the sky☺️ First, from the welcome drink "Matcha Lemonade". A drink with the refreshing comfort of matcha and lemon [Desserts] • Coconut and matcha mitsumame style • Hojicha Mousse • Matcha and black sesame tiramisu • Matcha Brulee • Hojicha wrapped in gyuhi • Bonbon The Vert • Surprise Ball • Matcha Cream Puff • Matcha Macaron • Small sweets [Savory] • Matcha and asparagus cake • Grilled eggplant tartlet basil cream • Mushroom verrine matcha cream Jerusalem artichoke chips • Cold zucchini soup • Chicken rouleau spinach and matcha spinach sauce Both sweets and savory are elaborate, beautiful, and not only beautiful but also really delicious😋 The details are full of commitment. [Drinks] ☕️All-you-can-drink 10 types of selected tea (Darjeeling Blend, Afternoon Blend, Sencha Lemongrass, Raspberry Leaf, Fruit Cocktail, Rose Red, Elegant Blend, Marigold, Echinacea, Hojicha) 🥤All-you-can-drink 6 types of soft drinks (Apple, Mango, Cola, Ginger Ale, Cranberry, Coffee) 🥂All-you-can-drink alcohol too (Sparkling Wine, Red Wine, White Wine) It's nice that not only tea and abundant soft drinks, but also sparkling wine and red/white wine are included in the free flow☺️ While enjoying the pleasure of choosing and the wonder of pairing, I was able to enjoy a tea time that was more glamorous and elegant than usual. The quality of the daytime view alone is this wonderful, but the night view must be even more beautiful✨ The atmosphere was so lovely that I thought, "I wish they would do this afternoon tea at night too!" It seems the content changes every 2 months depending on the season, so I want to come again to seek non-routine healing to experience this superb view and the beautiful and delicious afternoon tea again☺️

The location is on the 2nd floor of Tokyo Opera City, which is directly connected to the east exit of Hatsudai Station, take the escalator, and take the elevator in zone E to the 54th floor. Because this restaurant is attached to the wedding venue "OPERAHOUSE Tokyo", a very sophisticated non-routine space spreads out. From the large window, you can enjoy a superb view from 264m above ground with a 180-degree panorama, and you can overlook the Tokyo cityscape such as the Shinjuku skyscrapers and the metropolitan government building. Utilizing the special space that was once used as a chapel, it combines holiness and glamour. What I enjoyed was, ⭐️Enjoying popular strawberries! View on GoogleOPERA" is located on the top floor of Tokyo Opera City, 264 meters above ground. The panorama of Tokyo that stretches to the horizon that catches your eye the moment you get off the elevator is a luxurious spice worth visiting. This time I enjoyed the "Matcha x Hojicha Afternoon Tea" whose menu changes every 3 months. The first thing that surprises is the level of perfection of the savory (light meals) that can only be achieved because an authentic French chef is teaming up with a pastry chef. Dishes such as "Matcha and Asparagus Cake" and "Grilled Eggplant Tartlet" that draw out the original bitterness and aroma of the ingredients, not just as a side dish, but stand as one wonderful dish. In terms of desserts, that commitment is thorough. By limiting the ingredients used to a minimum, such as "Matcha and Black Sesame Tiramisu" and "Hojicha wrapped in Gyuhi", the rich aroma of matcha and the gentle lingering taste of hojicha directly stimulate the brain. The experience where sweetness, acidity, and Japanese bitterness come in a perfect gradation is a quality worthy of being called "enjoying with the five senses". Many gourmet dishes enjoyed with sophisticated service in a feeling of floating as if floating in the sky. Forget the hustle and bustle of daily life, for a day when you want to talk quietly with an important person, or as a special gift for yourself. This tea time that makes the heart and view so bright is rarely enjoyed elsewhere. This is a famous store that makes me strongly feel that adults who know the essence should visit this special seat in the sky.
