This is a solid izakaya with tasty food, a variety of beverages, good service and a great atmosphere. It’s near Zepp, so we stopped in before a concert and ate a satisfying early dinner of a medley of foods. I especially liked the tuna sushi and Hokkaido karage. The fried corn was unique and tasty. Just flipping through the colorful menu made me miss Hokkaido - so it was nice to enjoy a taste of the north! QR code made ordering easy. The restaurant has aesthetic appeal. I think it’s a great option for izakaya dining!

This restaurant specializes in Hokkaido cuisine, and even the background music is thoughtfully curated with songs from Hokkaido artists. The overall atmosphere feels cohesive, with great attention to detail. The food is consistently well-executed—meeting expectations without being boring. The ingredients are of high quality, and the seasoning is kept light, allowing the natural flavors to shine. For example, the shrimp has a distinct sweetness, and the uni is fresh and smooth. Overall, it’s a very comfortable and enjoyable dining experience without feeling heavy. For the quality offered, the value is excellent, and it’s definitely a place I would return to.

Situated in the Godzilla (Hotel Gracery) building in Shinjuku. An early evening dinner. We were given an English menu which we appreciated but Google translate does a great job 95% of the time. Delicious fried chicken and potatoes! Quite filling. The fresh sushi was amazing but for travelling Kiwis found the use of chopsticks difficult. The only one we both found not to our liking was sea urchin, which I guess is Kina in NZ. I still ate mine and my wife's 😁👍. The other flavours were delectable. Yum!

Beautiful staff, very kind. Tourist friendly. You order with a QR code so you can take as much time as you need deciding. We ordered a pork bowl, eel bowl, sea urchin sushi, shrimp spring roll and a soup dumpling bao. All sooo delicious, would love to come back.

Lovely restaurant near several hotels (a little something extra for those that stay in Gracery hotel too!) very delicious food! They serve raw seafood but also warm meals of beef, chicken, lamb and pork for the less adventurous. Waiters are nice and great atmosphere, if it looks quiet on the outside that means you’ll get some of the better seats to dine in. There’s free wi-fi available so you can scan their QR code to order in the international languages. You can also order refills or more food during your stay. I can here before during quiet and busy hours and will always try to come back at least once during my trip. Highly recommend! Note for our price we ate for 2 people and we ordered for special stuff!
