Wonderful kare & pasta little family owned restaurant. We were served with care and the food is great. We ordered katsu curry rice, seafood curry rice and carbonara pasta. We got salad and drink (orange juice for kids and ice tea for us) as well! Thank you very much!

Delicious curry, with a nice wait staff. They don't speak english very good, but they try to help customers the best they can, even going as far as to inform the customers of present sales. The selection of curry was impressive, and I loooooved the Hamburger Curry. So delicious! Be aware though, smoking is allowed inside, which is a plus to me!

The curry lunch comes with salad and iced tea for 1100円. Today's recommendations were seafood curry or Japanese-style spaghetti. The curry was slightly spicy and the seafood tender, very delicious. Pleasantly uncrowded and relaxing. There was an ashtray on the table, so smoking seems to be allowed.

A little before 12 on Saturday, I could see the owner preparing to open? But when I reached the shop, the sign beside the entrance said clouse? Was I a little early?? I waited briefly, but nothing changed, so I went into the coffee-shop-like interior and found 1 customer already eating~ Perhaps they'd forgotten to change the sign? Only 3 customers arrived before I left, so it felt quiet. Maybe because it was just after opening on Saturday? I settled at the counter and considered what to order. I debated having 2 kinds of curry, but since it was my first visit, I thought I'd start with a basic? lunch-menu option. I ordered today's lunch A, the katsu curry lunch set~ The cutlet was fried after I ordered, so it took a little while. A plate with an appetising spicy curry aroma. Rich European-style curry, delicious. The cutlet was diced and served covered all over with curry. No room to add sauce or anything~and there weren't any table condiments anyway. After tasting it, I felt it didn't need sauce. The slightly thin cutlet went well with the curry sauce and tasted good. It still had some crispness at the start, which was nice. The sauce itself had no chunky ingredients, but perhaps its flavour came from meat and vegetables simmered until they fell apart. Fukujinzuke came on the plate, with a separate container of rakkyo alongside~ A pleasure for a rakkyo lover. I took a moderate amount, not too much, and enjoyed it as a palate refresher. I also ate the set's mini salad between bites. I finished while thinking that with this curry's richness, the regular beef curry must be good too~ The after-meal drink was iced tea. Coffee is nice too, but tea suits European-style curry. I forgot to photograph the drink~I had it plain. I left satisfied, finding it tastier than expected. I rarely have opportunities to visit this area, but next time I'd like to order risotto? or something.

It was my first visit, and the first surprise was the glass ashtrays on the tables and counter, the kind once common in coffee shops. For lunch, it seemed just 1 item from the regular menu was discounted by 50円. The owner did both the cooking and serving, running everything alone. The fairly laid-back interior had a calm atmosphere. As for the food, the katsu curry had a slightly small helping of cutlet, rice covering about 2/3 of a somewhat small plate, and plenty of curry sauce made with thoroughly simmered vegetables. At first it looked small, but it was quite substantial, and its slight heat boosted my appetite, so I ate it all in one go. The lunch salad was roughly chopped lettuce, sliced cucumber, デルモンテ, and whole-kernel corn, topped with store-bought sesame dressing. The unusual curry spaghetti was unexpectedly tasty. Perhaps you could custom-order curry katsu spaghetti. Having such an old-fashioned eatery in a place like that makes it a valuable find. Next time I think I'll try a custom order.
