I loved coming here with my smoking buddy from work. Our company moved to a new location, so I haven't gone for a while. When I visited one day, the sign was gone. It seems to have closed permanently. I was sad that I was not able to say goodbye to the owners, they were so nice and made me feel at home even when I couldn't speak Japanese well. I loved their teriyaki chicken lunch set. I hope they are well!

Can say that the coffee and tea is great, yes it does allow smoking indoors, but if you get past that it is a nice cost effective spot for a morning wakeup.

April 13th is said to be Coffee Shop Day because the first coffee shop in Japan called 'Kahi Chakan' opened in Ueno. Because of that, I stopped by after finishing my errands in Akebonobashi with the excuse of 'let's have lunch at a coffee shop'. Morgan is right above Akebonobashi Station. It is an old-fashioned coffee shop and you can expect a good lunch set. Smoking is allowed inside the shop. Paper cigarettes are also OK, so if you don't like cigarette smoke, you might hesitate a little. However, for paper cigarette users, this might be a valuable place to rely on. For lunch, I ordered the Morgan set. The Morgan set is a set that feels profitable because it comes with hamburger and teriyaki chicken. It costs 1080 yen including miso soup, salad, and a drink. The hamburger is good. It feels like old-fashioned western food. The sauce is also quite exquisite. Furthermore, the teriyaki chicken, the seasoning is good. Mixing it with the hamburger sauce is also possible~ After the meal, I had a blend coffee and felt Coffee Shop Day on my skin.

It has good accessibility because it is near the station. It is a coffee shop with a classic atmosphere and if you visit in the morning, you can get a morning set at a cheap price.
