A recommended restaurant when U want to eat curry. The small shop, with 2-3 tables and 4 counter seats, is filled with the aroma of spices. If U drink beer and eat peanuts with ``Masala Peanut'', which has green chili pepper, sourness of lemon and onion, and spices, your appetite will increase. ``Green vegetable kootu'' has a mysterious texture made by stir-frying spinach and potatoes with spices. The curry is "Eggplant Keema Curry". Eggplant soaked in oil and spices is the best. U won't go wrong with any of the curries at this restaurant, and you'll definitely be satisfied.
View on GoogleWe were wandering around the area and could smell this restaurant from further up the street. Unfortunately at the time it was closed but we knew we wanted to come back and I’m so glad we did. We tried two different curries which were both incredibly fragrant and flavourful in different ways. The Punjab Chicken was my favourite. It was very smooth and creamy. One of the unexpected highlights of the meal was the chai we ordered. Easily one of the best chai’s I’ve ever had, not too sweet, not watered down, just incredible. I would love to one day return.
View on GoogleTAKEAWAY REVIEW - Decided to pick up a Takeaway on the way home. I was the first customer. I ordered chicken masala pepper, chicken keema, spinach and cheese, saffron rice, and a chapati.Got on my bike and rode home. Still warm 40 mins later but put in the microwave for 4 mins anyway. Really great tastes, really good. Will go again. Total cost was, 4,600 yen, fed two, partner said they were very nice. I really enjoyed them and I make curry from scratch 2-3 times a week. Again, this place is good, must be great straight from the kitchen!
View on GoogleTalk about authentic south Indian food! We came from Canada (where we have an abundance of South Indian cuisine), and when we were in japan we happened by this spot simply by location. The price is a bit on the higher side. Unfortunately not family friendly.
View on GoogleWanted to take a break from eating Japanese food on our trip. Tried this restaurant. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious and authentic. Highly recommend for some wanting to eat authentic Indian cuisine in the area.
