Good food never tasted this good. There's nothing like home-cooked African food. Miss your work, but don't miss this African cuisine. Great food favors the hungry heart. African food is not a cuisine, it's a cultural adventure.

Good Nigerian food in the heart of Shinjuku, Tokyo! It was kinda hard to find at first because of all of bustling around with people, lights, and attractions, but an African man was kind enough to point us to the exact location. You’ll have to climb a length upstairs to reach the actual restaurant, but when you make it up there, the food & drink are well worth it!

I really liked the warm and timely service and the fact that the table had everything. The quantity was generous and l enjoyed the texture of the yam fufu. However, l wanted seafood okro but they didn’t have it. I settled for fish okro and it was the worst l have eaten in my life. I wasn’t sure if it was the red oil or the fish or it was burnt, but the taste was slightly different. It had a strange smoky smell and l couldn’t eat some parts of the fish. I ordered jellof rice takeaway and the smell was also burnt too. I doubt l will go here again.

After reading and watching many reviews, I stopped in for dinner. I ordered the pepper soup for ¥1500. All of the meat was tough, hard as a rock or beyond chewy. The soup was good though. Also order the jollof rice set with chicken and cabbage slaw for ¥1500. The only thing good was the slaw. The jollof rice had no depth, flavorless, over disappointing. The chicken was dry and tasteless. There were two servers, the guy assisted me in the beginning and at the end I had to go up to him for service. I was the only customer there at this time. The female server was on her phone the whole time and with quick glances at me, seemed disinterested to assist. Bad vibes coming from them. I wouldn’t recommend.

I came in here never having tried Nigerian or really, any West African food before, and was pleasantly surprised by the experienced. I asked the waiter (Rio? I think that’s what his name was) what he’d recommend for a first timer like myself, and his suggestion was an okra stew with some fufu on the side. It came with a few chunks of tough meat inside, which I actually liked quite a bit. The stew was well spiced, but not mind numbingly hot like some curries I’ve had in the past. The fufu had a bit of an odd texture (I was expecting something a bit more bread-like), but I’m glad I tried it, as I felt like I had something close to an authentic experience. The food definitely isn’t catered to Japanese tastes, compared to a lot of other more “exotic” restaurants that I’ve been to, especially in Tokyo, which I thought was a bold move. So yeah, 10/10 experience. Great food, great service, and generous prices and portions. Will definitely be back someday!

Good Spot for Nigerian food. Service was ok could be a little fast upon taking orders. Atmosphere wasn’t really great. Music was good and it was nice to have the afro beats music whilst I had my meal. But there was a large card box next to me at the table I was eating at. To my surprise there was food boxed up on the counter…. I imagine ready for when people order. It was a little jarring and It made the experience feel flat. The food was incredible. Egusi was delicious, flavourful and had a great amount of meat. Pounded yam was good. Especially compared to the last one I had. The entire meal was finished off with a Nigerian Fanta. Best was to finish off the evening. Overall, a great experience
