We walked past a few days earlier and the aroma of bolognese pasta pulled us in. Ended up chatting with the owner and booked a reservation. Sat at the counter, enjoyed great food, and even met a fellow customer who turned out to be a singer. It was fun watching the owner run the whole kitchen while chatting with regulars—you can tell he loves what he does. Cozy, memorable, and highly recommended.

After a big day in Tokyo we were very tired and walked by Bologna, had a look inside and after a short chat with the owner decided to have dinner. What a great decision, the owner was a great host, the food and wine were fantastic. Family of four, kids 11 and 15, verdict was the best meal in Tokyo of the trip and the best meal we've had in some time.

A chill little place, we popped in one night for a beer and the atmosphere was great. Takashi is the man, a one man operation , takes orders, cooks, serves, and lots of good banter sitting at the bar. We decided to go back the next night for dinner and the food was phenomenal. He even customised a dish to pescatarian for me. Was nice to see Martinborough wine on the menu from 10mins up the road from where I live in New Zealand. We will definitely be back again

I chose this place because it was local, open reasonably late, and seemed suitable for going alone. The owner seemed capable, but even though there was only 1 other customer besides me, we only spoke about necessary matters. So although the food was delicious, unfortunately I won't be going alone again! (I already felt somewhat unwelcome from the reservation phone call).
