I recently returned from Cambodia and wanted to try Khmer cuisine in Tokyo. The amok was incredibly delicious, and the delicate pumpkin dessert complemented the bitter coffee. The restaurant is small, atmospheric, and cozy. Thank you so much to the hospitable chef. I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it!

An authentic and small Cambodian restaurant with overpriced dishes and small portions. While the quality of the food is excellent and the restaurant owners are friendly, the required drink purchase and small portions make this restaurant a bit on the expensive side. If you're looking for a hearty meal, you might want to consider going elsewhere. However, for a delicious and authentic Cambodian experience with friendly service, it could be worth a try.

For those who love or want to try the Khmer menu. Since they have only 2 people take time to get the meal so just wait a bit. Good things take time. Recommend menu Nom Pjok and Brohok Ktis

As a Cambodian, I had to visit the restaurant. To be quite honest, the atmosphere was small but well designed and the staff were wonderful. The food was quite delicious as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those who want to try traditional Khmer dishes.

As Cambodians who grew up in the States and are now living in Japan, we went out of our way to support a Cambodian restaurant. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had. We arrived right at opening and were the only customers. When my kids ordered lunch items (pork and rice, kuy tiew), the male staff member/cook immediately and repeatedly tried to discourage us from ordering the lunch set, claiming the side dishes would take 30–60 minutes. This made no sense in an empty restaurant, if your kitchen can’t handle it, why offer the set at all? He even told us that “kids wouldn’t eat those side dishes anyway,” which was completely inappropriate, who are you to tell me what my kids will or won’t eat!? The lunch set cost the same price as the dish alone. (So that’s it? He just didn’t want to give us the free side dishes with our meal? How petty! Seriously, get rid of the menu if you don’t want people to order it 🙄) We ordered the lunch set anyway, despite being told again it would take an hour longer… yet the side dishes came out in under five minutes. 😂 The food itself was just as disappointing. The “amok” appeared to be the same curry used for my husband’s curry noodle dish (he just added a few pieces of fish with the same broth), which is completely wrong and not authentic. The kuy tiew noodles were clear, not the rice noodles they’re supposed to be. The pickled sides were unpleasant, and the kabocha “custard” wasn’t custard at all, more like a strange gelatin texture. For the first 30 minutes, the restaurant was silent with zero atmosphere. Once Japanese customers arrived, the tone noticeably changed (they finally turned on the music), and the customers ordered lunch sets without any pushback. The difference in treatment was obvious and uncomfortable, especially after seeing other reviews mentioning similar experiences from Cambodians. Hmm, there seems to be a pattern here. We paid full price and drove out of our way to support this place, only to leave wondering how it’s still operating. Between the disrespectful service, inauthentic food, and uncomfortable environment, this was easily one of the worst restaurants we’ve been to. We were so unsatisfied when we left and immediately went to grab some delicious Mexican food in Harajuku before our weekly shopping spree, that’s how unsatisfying this place was (we needed a second lunch to redeem this awful experience). We won’t be back, we won’t be bringing friends or family, and we definitely do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
