◆Adding Japanese color to seasonal vegetables, cost-effective cuisine and abundant wine. Carefully selected ingredients and delicate arrangements, course meals that incorporate the essence of French and Japanese cuisine, and satisfying a la carte are also intriguing [Aura Cucina Italiana]. It is an adult hideaway restaurant with a calm atmosphere. Drinks are also abundant! Among them, the wine lineup exceeds 100, and we are waiting with a full selection. #Shinjuku #Dinner #Wine

Absolutely fantastic. Ironic that one of the best Italian restaurants is tucked away in an unassuming corner of Nishishinjuku surrounded by Japanese fast food and ramen joints. Fantastic atmosphere, incredible food, great owner and all around a very enjoyable experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a slice of Italian while travelling Tokyo, or even a local looking to try something different.

View on GoogleThe course starts from luxurious foie gras✨ Thick and rich, the top surface is caramelized, crispy and creamy😍 The balance between the boiled-down sweet balsamic vinegar and the sweet-and-sour taste of the accompanying apple is exquisite🍎✨ There was a waiting time until the appetizer, but when it came out, I was surprised by the amount that exceeded the "appetizer" area! Often cold appetizers that can be made in advance are served, but even things that were just cooked are mixed and packed on a large plate😲 There are plenty of seafood such as elaborate smoked, fish fritters, turban shell, rich-tasting salmon, and fresh shirasu🐳 The main lobster has elasticity, and the petit-petit sea grapes are combined to remind of shrimp in the sea😊🦞❤️ The pasta is seasonal peach and conger eel, somehow the pun is fashionable, and the unexpected combination is delicious🍑🐟️ Because it is a salty taste opposite to the seasoning of the lobster earlier, it is quite a lot up to here but you can eat it all without getting bored✨ Finally, soft marbled beef tagliatelle where even the accompanying vegetables are delicious, luxurious to the very end🥩 Gelato of basil, coconut, and watermelon with Italian flag colors that came out as dessert, all of them are super delicious!! Definitely more delicious than a high-end gelato expert! Moreover, because it was made just before coming out, the aroma is wonderful, and it was fun to eat together or separately😍🌿🥥🍉 I am very happy that the dessert has a composition that can be enjoyed without becoming heavy💕 The paintings displayed in the shop are said to be painted by the chef himself, and I felt art in the chef's arm that does not stop only at cooking🎨
View on GoogleThis is an Italian restaurant that sells luxury ingredients that are rare these days. I enjoyed the foie gras with orthodox seasoning, but it seems the chef makes it alone, and I waited for about 30 minutes in the middle because he wanted to make it with customers who came later, and after that, the style was for dishes to come out all at once. Matsutake also came out, but there was a bit of bitterness. There were 2 people on the floor and both were Chinese women, they couldn't explain the wine, couldn't hear the food explanation, and breadcrumbs remained scattered until the end, so it was difficult to use it for an anniversary. This was the first time for a shop without a hand towel in the toilet with this budget. Ah, the meat and pasta were delicious.
