The place was smaller than what I thought But the place was so cozy and relaxing! It was a good destination for the beginning of the day! The staff were so professional and friendly The merchs were good ... I was able to complete my collection of ffxiv pins The atmosphere is soooo cool!! Like while you search for the things you want to buy or drinking your coffee you can hear some famous OSTs from Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy! The only thing that I felt down is the shop size
View on GoogleIf you love Square Enix games such at Dragonquest and Final Fantasy; this is the place to be. Wide selection of merchandise only found here. The coffee was delicious and the pancakes were as well. The staff was attentive and friendly as well. Just make sure you come prepared to spend some money!
View on GoogleFor a themed bar, very affordable and if I am being honest, the minestrone soup here was the best I’ve ever had. The store in the back is wonderfully presented and relaxing. I recommend getting there early though as it fills up fast.
View on GoogleThis is a hard review to write, because we had a really strange experience, and I'm not sure what happened here. First off, the place is a small little cafe with about 15 seats, with a shop full of Square IP merchandise. Although, where was no finally fantasy 8 and 10?! Sacrilege. Then there's another section with a display of Square figures and and statues, which is very cool. The negative side was the service and the time it took to get our food. Now, I'm going to put thus down to someone having a bad day, and the fact that service quality in Japan had been excellent up until then, but the hostess/waitress was not particularly friends or welcoming. Again, I'm going to say this was my fault for being a typical English man and expecting everyone to speak English. But clearly we didn't speak a lot of Japanese, and tried to explain it, but she keep speaking japanese to us at great length, very quickly whilst not really looking at us or paying attention. Let's just put it down to my sense of privilege and someone having a bad day. Now, the food was very average, but most distressingly it had almonds on it, I mean a lot of almonds. My partner has a mild nut allergy, and she couldn't eat them. Maybe we were asked in Japanese if we had allergies and missed it. But we did pick things that didn't have nuts in. Food took 30ish minutes to arrive and there was only 2 other tables eating. Place has some cleanliness issues too. So, it's hard to summaries the experience. If you want to look at models for 5 minutes and pick up some Square merchandise, it's worth nipping in if you're in the area. Otherwise I'd just go to anyone of the thousand geeky shops in Tokyo and grab your pancakes somewhere else.
View on GoogleAs a final fantasy fan you'll love it, spent most of my money on merchandise rather than the food, the coffee I had was cool though. They play ff game music which was brilliant, love all game music so it fits me perfectly, definitely a must go for FF and square enix enthusiasts
