A really lovely restaurant. Suitable for business entertaining and private outings alike♪ These days it might be great for inbound tourists too〜 The food photos are a little old, so please check the details with the restaurant! A renowned restaurant that evokes Kyoto. You might even catch a shamisen performance! There are fewer little restaurants like this around now〜
View on GoogleA small restaurant with a proprietress like Kotemari from Aibou. A hideaway for adults.
View on GoogleEven though it's in 神楽坂, this restaurant makes you feel as though you're in Gion, Kyoto. Just inside, I think there were 6 counter seats. Farther back is a raised seating area, with a horigotatsu-style counter where you can lower your legs, with 8 seats, if I remember correctly. The omakase course we left to their choice was delicious. It's based on Japanese cuisine, but you can feel the creativity and ingenuity. And you can listen to the shamisen right in front of you. After the performance, please do offer a gratuity (tip) (*^^*)
View on GoogleThe proprietress and younger proprietress are absolutely wonderful. They're skilled conversationalists and don't interrupt conversations between guests. A fun restaurant that knows just what works. The sake and food pairings are outstanding too. Be sure to savor the superb ramen to finish.
View on GoogleA business partner brought me here. The day I visited was a kodan storytelling day, and I had the rare experience of listening to kodan across the counter. I'd like to visit again.
