I visited for lunch on a weekday. Since it was crowded, they asked whether we were willing to share a table, and seating is shared once both parties agree. It may take longer to get in with a large group. They also sell food outside, so if you can take it away to eat, you can buy it right away. I ordered the lunch set of 上海焼きそば + half fried rice.

The 6 of us ordered whatever we liked à la carte rather than from the lunch menu, without expecting much. We were surprised that everything was delicious. I particularly liked the gyoza and century egg tofu, but everything was very satisfying. My friends, who usually only come for lunch, were surprised too, haha.

I visited 中華居酒屋 味佳縁 西新宿店 for lunch. This time I ordered the daily lunch set of 麻婆豆腐麺 with half fried rice. The 麻婆豆腐麺 had fragrant spices, deep richness beneath its sharp heat, and a thick broth that clung well to the noodles, making it very satisfying. The tofu was thoroughly infused with flavor too, making for a very fulfilling bowl. The half fried rice had nicely separated grains and plenty of savory flavor without being overly oily. It paired well with the noodles, making the set very well balanced. Despite it being lunchtime, service was smooth, and the restaurant was lively while still allowing a relaxed meal. It was good value, and I think it is a place to casually enjoy delicious Chinese food. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

I often come to eat after work. Since it is a weekday, there is plenty of room to sit comfortably. I usually arrive after 20:00, but can stay until around 23:00. I almost always order エビマヨ and チャーハン, but all the other food is delicious too. I would love to try every item eventually…! Even with drinks and eating until full, it comes to around 3000円, so I think the prices are fair.

I came for lunch and ordered the classic stir-fried pork, egg, and wood ear mushrooms. It was cheap and quite a large portion for me, but so delicious that I finished it easily. The people at the restaurant were very pleasant too. I would like to come back.
