I went to Yakitori Toriko in Osaki. The interior has a calm atmosphere centered around a counter, making it easy to enter even alone. All the yakitori are carefully grilled, and the tsukune in particular was fluffy and full of flavor, leaving a lasting impression. Adding a little shichimi to the salt was a nice accent. Besides yakitori, the seafood is also delicious; the sashimi was fresh and paired perfectly with alcohol. Overall, the quality of the food is high, and the owner's gentle demeanor makes it a comfortable space. It's a great place for a relaxing drink after work or a casual meal, and I'd love to go back.
View on GoogleJust a short walk from Osaki Station, there is a calm space with about 10 counter seats. True to its name, this is a luxurious spot where you can enjoy both yakitori and fresh fish. What surprised me most was the "tsukune." It was served with chouchin (immature eggs), and the moment the rich yolk coated it was pure bliss. The sashimi was also thick and satisfying, pairing perfectly with the sake carefully selected by the owner. It's great to see the meticulous work over the counter, and the consideration to keep smoke odors off your clothes is a nice touch. This is a place I'd want to bring someone special.
View on GoogleIt's good! But, I don't want too many people to know about it. Wonderful yakitori, and the owner has a great personality. A cozy space. Next time I want to enjoy the fresh fish.
View on GoogleThere's no mention of lunch service on the internet, but they were actually open for lunch! It sells out quickly, so depending on the time, lunch service is often already finished. This time, I ordered the seafood bowl! It was packed with fresh, thick-cut fish, sea urchin, and salmon roe! I was truly full! It came with pickles and miso soup! The miso soup was full of ingredients and very satisfying! I almost wanted to come just for this soup! It's a bit pricey, so I think it's a great treat for a day you've worked hard or need to motivate yourself! Next time, I want to try the fried horse mackerel set and the fried chicken set!
View on GoogleLocated about 5 minutes from Osaki Station. It's usually open from the evening, but I heard they started lunch service. It's a matter of luck, as lunch service can sometimes be closed depending on the time. There are chicken and fish menus. This time I ordered the seafood bowl. It has several types of fish, salmon roe, and sea urchin, and the volume is generous. It might be a bit expensive for lunch, but I'm satisfied because I can eat fresh and delicious fish. The slices are thick and satisfying. Also, the miso soup that comes with it is delicious. It's full of ingredients and the right amount of fat makes it even more appetizing. The evening service seems fun as they have authentic yakitori and snacks that go well with alcohol. However, since there are only counter seats, it's safer to check in advance. It was a slightly rich lunch, but I'll definitely be back!
