It is 7.8 minutes on foot from Osaki Station. Depending on the time, it may be busy or already closed. I went around 12:30 on a weekday and got in without waiting. The interior is small, with about 7 tables. The soba is expensive. They say they use carefully selected buckwheat flour, but 1600〜1900円 for lunch is certainly not cheap. This time I ordered カレー南蛮. It is a thin, soup-like カレー南蛮 that is not heavy and is easy to eat. If you want to appreciate the soba itself, I think せいろ or 天せいろ would be better. It is delicious, but the strongest impression is that it is expensive. Do try it for a treat-yourself lunch! They also open in the evening, but often close relatively early, so keep that in mind!

■きのこそば(山形月山産) 1,700円 The カレー南ばん was sold out, so I chose warm mushroom soba. There were several kinds of mushrooms, large and satisfying◎ The noodles were thin and flat, and the stock slightly sweet, making for an elegantly balanced, delicious bowl. Please note that lunch is cash only.

The price is fairly substantial, but it was delicious, so I am satisfied. It has the color of rustic soba and a very firm bite. Just the kind I like. The wasabi had a strong aroma too. The noodle dipping sauce was also delicious with a gentle sweetness. They might get more customers if it were a little more affordable, but that would probably clash with the shop's concept, so I think it is fine as it is. However, for the price, there was no hand towel, and the atmosphere was not great either. The soba was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch at 「手打ちそば わかすぎ」, a soba shop run by a parent and child on Hyakutan-dori near Osaki Station. In the freezing weather of an intense cold wave, I stopped by this place near the polling station that I had wanted to try, while out voting early. There are only table seats inside. Payment at lunchtime is cash only💰 Ordered 「せいろと小天丼(1900円)」 The soba uses buckwheat flour from Hokkaido and is fragrant and delicious♪ The 小天丼 also has 5 kinds of toppings, plenty! Apparently in the evening you can enjoy wines carefully selected by the proprietress, who is also a certified sommelier, along with appetizers served before soba🍷

A soba shop a few minutes from Osaki Station I was interested in カレー南蛮, but it was sold out, so this time I chose 天せいろ The tempura included shrimp, sweet potato, eggplant, and pumpkin! I was also interested in きのこそば and 肉そば. Next time I want to try カレー南蛮.
