Staff is very kind and very tourist-friendly. Very good suggestion about size and explain everything in English. I ordered Mamushi bowl (Double layer unagi). As recommended from the review, it’s very good, but please beware the portion is quite big.

Found this Unagi restaurant on Google so managed to explore this area while looking for it. Nice vibe in the restaurant, the staff are also very friendly even though I don’t speak Japanese. Regular size is good enough for girl’s appetite. Also tried the sake recommended by the staff, had a good experience here.

A very local place off the beaten path. Only 5 tables so getting there at opening is highly recommended. Light and fluffy textures with a clean tastes, which is different from what there usual places tastes of.

The restaurant was fully booked, so we waited a while and came back later. The staff welcomed us warmly. The unagi rice was melt-in-your-mouth tender and incredibly fragrant. They even treated us to strawberries and pineapple after the meal, and gave the kids adorable puzzle-shaped cookies. Such a warm and delicious dining experience!

My first time to get personal traveling in Tokyo and catch up my luggage into the store. I just never forget the unagi don taste here. Stuff was interested that why I get here but ask me in Japanese. Finally, I just write down by waku. Photo at 2017-06-22 lunch time. #tokyotrip #tokyotravel #unagidon #うなぎ よね山
