Unsuspecting tendon shop out of the main bustle of Togoshi Ginza's strip. Fresh, crispy tempura that didn't leave me feeling sick afterwards like some other tempura restaurants do for me. Reasonably priced and the interior was calming -- I can imagine this place can get pretty crowded since seating is fairly limited.
View on GoogleI visited here in 2016 on a solo trip to Tokyo, I remember the tempura being absolutely amazing. The chef was ever so friendly and was patient with me as I was not familiar with Japanese etiquette when eating.

View on GoogleI used it for an early lunch on Sunday. There was 1 group of customers before me. For the Tokujo Tendon, you can choose between kakiage or anago, I chose kakiage. It was a kakiage containing many plump small shrimp. The other ingredients also felt solid and it was a delicious tendon. Also, the smell of the oil matched my taste. As in other people's reviews, I thought it was a shop with an atmosphere that is a bit difficult to enter, but once you enter, I think it is a shop where you can enjoy tendon calmly.
View on GoogleClean interior with only a counter. It was good that there was a hanger rack to hang jackets. The chef works alone. [Order] - Tokujo Tendon large rice portion *You can choose between kakiage or anago. This time I chose kakiage. - Corn tempura. The sound of tempura being fried in front of my eyes is irresistible. Then the order arrived. The tempura was, if I remember correctly, shrimp, egg, seaweed, pumpkin, squid, and small shrimp kakiage. Corn tempura is served separately and you are asked to eat it with salt. The sauce is light and the crispy tempura is delicious. The corn is also delicious, it makes me want to drink alcohol. Two pieces of corn were served, but if I asked them to put one on the tendon with tempura sauce, could they have done it? I also wanted to eat it with tempura sauce. And the small shrimp kakiage was plump and delicious. For me, it was better than regular shrimp tempura. The service was also good, and I was satisfied. And what I was curious about was the carrot kakiage. I like carrot tempura so I want to try it next time.
