An outstanding place for soba. A small and very friendly place with amazing food. The kamo nanban was so tasty. The broth is perfect with a great soba noodle. We had a tempura onion appetizer which was so good. While we understand basically no Japanese, they were so friendly and we had great service. I would absolutely go back here. Visitors don't be afraid just go in and order. They have a point at the picture menu so you won't be so lost.
View on GoogleI stopped by with a friend after work. By 6 PM, the place was full of customers and had a lively atmosphere. We started with "Nakanaka" barley shochu mixed with water. The freshly fried tempura was great, of course, but the rich soba miso and the fluffy tamagoyaki (rolled omelet) packed with dashi were exceptional, making the drinks go down easily. For the finish, we had soba, of course. The fragrant, smooth noodles felt great after enjoying some drinks. From the side dishes to the finish, everything is consistently good. If you want to enjoy a stylish evening at an Edomae soba shop in Kita-Shinagawa, this is the place. The delicious food and lively space really healed the fatigue of the day.
View on GoogleFor some reason, there are many soba shops near my workplace, and among them, I felt this one seemed the best, so I visited. Since they seem to push duck meat, I ordered the kamo seiro (soba with duck dipping sauce) for my first visit. Inside the shop, there's a sign explaining that soba is healthy. After reading this, I started thinking, "I should eat soba at home too!" 😄 For my second visit, I ordered the katsudon set. The katsu meat felt well-cooked and tender. The seasoning is just right 👌 They also call other customers by their names, so it seems like a popular place with many regulars. Besides soba, there are also izakaya-style menu items, so I think many people will get hooked here 👍
View on GoogleA shop I always visit when I have work in Shinagawa. The atmosphere is nice, and the gentle service from the male staff member who takes orders is heartwarming. Today I ordered the daily special, curry tanuki soba. It's a solid portion and reasonably priced at 1100 yen, which is great. It's often said that curry at a soba shop never disappoints, and the curry here is indeed rich and delicious. Information about the buckwheat flour used that day is posted in the shop, showing their dedication to careful craftsmanship. The customer sitting next to me said, "The water here is good." It's true, it's very refreshing and easy to drink. Maybe that's why the soba is also good. After enjoying the curry and soba, I paid. I'm glad they accept PayPay. As I was leaving, I heard a gentle voice from the back of the kitchen from the landlady, "Take care on your way." It's a wonderful shop that makes me want to keep coming back so they can say, "Thanks for coming as always.
View on GoogleSunaba Soba I came here after hearing a recommendation from a local dignitary. I arrived before 7 PM, and since the last order was at 7:50 PM, it was calm. There are few seats, a small TV above, and it had the atmosphere of a "true local soba shop". [What I ordered] 2 Mori Soba Assorted tempura (shrimp, sweet potato, green pepper, green onion, fried soba) Okukuji Tamagoyaki Nori Miso Cheese Beer Soba tea Everything had a gentle flavor, and I was able to spend a relaxing time.
