7/1/26 - 3.5 stars Have seen this chain in many big Tokyo metro stations and heard it was quite good, especially the bread. This store is quite small and, when we arrived, there was a medium sized line but service is fast so only waited about 15mins. Not much seating here however turnover is fast. Food came almost immediately. Of the soups we got, the overall impression was the depth of flavour was ok but not amazing. Notably, the onion soup and bisque were a bit disappointing. The congee was surprisingly good. The bread was certainly good. Warm, crunchy outside and fluffy inside. Pairs well.
View on GoogleThe menu is more limited compared to larger Soup Stock locations. There was only one vegan soup, and no vegan curry rice options. The soup was delicious, but the small portion size left me feeling hungry. Additionally, there was an annoying high-pitched frequency sound akin to the sounds used to repel insects. The restaurant is located inside a JR station and is best suited as a quick snack stop for those already traveling on the JR line. It's not worth paying station admission just to visit.
View on GoogleIt was a simple meal with soup. I ordered the pumpkin radish soup which is so tasty, absolutely good match with Japanese rice. The waitress is sweet & helpful although they don’t speak english. If u are soup lover, it would be a good choice after eating many sushi & yakitori. p.s. this soup is asian taste, not as thick as the western soup, most of my european friends are not interested.
View on GoogleThe price is ok, selection is limited, but this is a station store, so it's expected. I would say the taste is acceptable, but nothing fantastic. Quick lunch and go
View on GoogleHad vegetable soup and a baguette. Pretty bland overall. Soup needed more seasoning snd bread needed butter or olive oil. High pitched buzz was constant. Good for a quick bite but nothing I’d go out of my way for.
