I think this soba shop probably opened at the same time 大井町トラックス was built. The interior is still new and not very large, but it felt very systematic. Of the 2 ticket machines, 1 was exclusively for transit cards. I ordered soba with kakiage and an egg. The egg came in a separate container, and somehow I got the impression that the shop was run according to a well-established manual. The soba had a faint soba aroma and a little firmness. It was delicious with a strong aroma.
View on GoogleThere was a large building next to Oimachi Station. I hadn't known about it. I found a standing soba shop (actually, you eat sitting down) in the space leading to that building, so I went in. All the staff were pleasant. The shop was clean too. The soba was quite tasty. The curry's flavor could use a little more work. (Since it felt welcoming, I went in both at lunchtime and in the evening) The rough atmosphere of Showa-era standing eateries has disappeared from the world. Perhaps places this clean with proper service are more popular these days. I miss the standing eateries under the stairs at Musashi-Kosugi and Bubaigawara.
View on GoogleIt's immediately on the left after you exit the new Tracks entrance ticket gate at JR Oimachi Station. It's an ordinary station soba shop, but I think the soba is tasty. There are about 20 seats. There are 2 ticket machines that accept transit IC cards. There was also a pot of soba cooking water.
View on GoogleVisited TRACKS to look around. I'd already had lunch, but the lunch at 「LIZARRAN横浜店」 was meager and looked poor! It didn't fill me up! I remembered there was a そばいち and went to fill my stomach! I tapped cold soba on the ticket machine and bought 山菜そば570円 with a large noodle serving(0.5 portion)120円, totaling 690円. The meal ticket has a number, which is announced and shown on a large monitor, and you go pick it up. It was perfectly tasty. There's also one inside JR Akihabara Station where I've eaten before, but the warm soba I had wasn't that good. The cold one is delicious.
View on GoogleI went on the 2nd day after opening! My conclusion: I'll be back! But I think there's still room to improve the service, so I'm looking forward to that! The soba and tempura were both really delicious!!
