Food is quite good but with unfriendly service, especially the women.

I visited for lunch. Various menu options, all priced at 1000円. They were all appealing combinations, such as sashimi with fried food, or 海鮮丼 with soba. Grilled mackerel seemed popular, as I noticed it being served often. There are 7,8 counter seats and 2,3 tables for 4. Service is very quick, in a diner style where people leave after eating. Even if it's full, I think you'd get in soon. The rice, miso soup, and pickles were all excellent. Of course, the main dishes were delicious too, and I had a happy lunchtime.

I stopped by because it was on the way to 鮫洲運転免許試験場. It's just a short distance from 京急線鮫洲駅. Perhaps because I went at lunchtime, it was almost full. They recommend dishes made with fresh seafood sourced from the market. Lunch service during the day, izakaya service at night. The chef doing the cooking and perhaps his wife? The two of them were running it harmoniously. I ordered 本日の定食 (sashimi and fried squid). The fried squid had a crisp coating and was tender inside! It was somehow different from the fried squid I'd imagined, and I was impressed. It was cut into small pieces, making it easy to eat. The sashimi portion was generous too, which was nice! Thank you for the meal 🙇

しながわ食堂 near my office. I'd wanted to go for ages and finally made it. It's a popular place that quickly fills up at lunchtime and then sells out. I ordered the hugely popular さばの塩焼き, and it deserved its popularity: wonderfully fatty and truly delicious. The アジフライ in 本日の定食 was popular too and looked very tasty! (Set meal 1000円) The small sashimi side dish was delicious too, so next time I'll try the sashimi set! I think around １１：３０ is the best time to go! A set-meal restaurant I recommend ＾＾ It seems to be run by a married couple, and it's an efficient place with quick turnover!

Found this restaurant near my work destination! The words sashimi and chicken katsu on the sign outside caught my eye, and I went straight in 😆 There were 4 lunch options, but I ordered 本日の定食 with a large rice! When I entered, there were only 2 people at the counter and 1 party of 2 at a table, but in no time every table was full. There were several regulars too—it's popular~ ♪ The order arrived in about 5 minutes. The set had 5 kinds of sashimi, including tuna and octopus, 5 bite-sized chicken cutlets, a mini salad, and pickles. The sashimi was so good I felt I could have another bowl of rice with it alone, and the bite-sized chicken cutlets were easy to eat~ Freshly fried, so delicious 😋 At ¥1,000-, I think it's good value. Next time I'll try a different set 😊❗️
