平太周 味庵Ramen Hirataishu Ajian Gotanda
Informal noodle house doling out bowls of ramen cooked in a fatty pork-bone broth with soy sauce.
With the slogan “The temple of back fat! Rich pork-bone soy sauce broth with plenty of back fat,” the ramen at らーめん平太周 is a proud creation that inherits and further develops a flavor born at a street stall that once took Kan-nana by storm. Several ingredients are simmered in a pork-bone base. Topped with back fat and a soy sauce flavor so rich that it turns the noodles black, it nonetheless prides itself on being mild, sweet, and easy to enjoy. The medium-thick, chewy noodles combine beautifully with the rich pork-bone soy sauce broth and back fat. We also accommodate individual preferences for noodle doneness, saltiness, and amounts of garlic and fat. Please stop by to refuel and enjoy 平太周's ramen and 油そば. Delivery through Uber Eats and other…

Small but amazing ramen shop! Order at the machine to get a ticket. The ramen is cooked in pork fat back and it’s spectacular!! Highly recommend coming here.
View on GoogleAn intimate local ramen house with a small but tasty selection of dishes and limited drinks. For solo or couple travelers, this was a quiet place to have a nice bowl of ramen after a day of exploring. Upon entering, you put your money into the machine on the right and press the button for which dishes you want. Ticket will come out of the machine. If there is a free seat, sit down (all the seats are around the bar) and hand your tickets to the person when prompted. If there are no free seats, just wait outside the front door and the worker will call you when the seats are free/cleaned up. I had the Bakumori, which isn’t ramen but more like Abura Soba with egg and pork chashu, (thick noodles with oil at the bottom - no broth. With this dish, you can pick if you want 200g, 300g, or 400g of noodles (the worker will as you what you want when they take your ticket). I picked 300g as I wasn’t sure and it ended up being too much for me. The noodles are very thick and filling. I’d recommend this place if you want some nice, authentic ramen and noodles in Gotanda!
View on GoogleRanked no. 1 by Tabelog in this area. Its a fatty type ramen place which has been featured lots of times on Japanese TV. They also serve Fatty Abura Soba (oily noodles) which is highly recommended. The noodles are thicke and Al dente. Chewy and Firm. Doesn’t feel heavy or oily after eating. Quite popular with women diners.
View on GoogleSome of the best ramen I’ve had in Tokyo. Never had this oily style before but I love it. Authentic atmosphere! They don’t take credit cards so that’s why service a bit lower rating. Foreigners have your translate app ready because no English menu. Get past that and your tummy will be happy!!
View on GoogleBakumori abura men is the best I have ever ate. You can choose amount of noodles 200g to 400g, but if you are true Abura soba fun, choose 400g without hesitant. First bite is like going to the heaven. To be honest, later part is getting harder. You should fight with the thick noodle and heavy oil. When you finish it, you feel like never eat it again. Strangely, a month later you're in line again. One thing, don’t forget that Bakumori abura men is served after 2pm.
