Pizzeria Brunno was our last meal in Tokyo and what a wonderful local find in Gotanda. These guys really know pizza. They have perfected the art of their dough making and the oven gives the pizzas that beautiful crust with great flavour and texture. The toppings are done thoughtfully as well, not overloaded, just balanced to maximise flavour in every bite. We tried the sausage pizza, and the Quattro Formaggio with honey. Highly recommend adding the honey. It completely transforms the pizza and adds an incredible sweet savoury balance. We also ordered the octopus salad which was fresh and refreshing, along with some pickles on the side. The wine in Japan has not really suited our palate during this trip, but it still paired nicely with the meal. The atmosphere here is fantastic. It feels like a true local neighbourhood restaurant, cosy and welcoming, run by a small team of about four or five people who clearly care about what they are serving. A perfect final meal in Tokyo and somewhere we would happily return to again.
View on GoogleThe pizza here was brilliant, v authentic and lovely service / vibe of the restaurant. So great we visited twice while in Tokyo!
View on GooglePizza enthusiast here. The best neopolitan pizza I’ve had in Tokyo. Arancini were also the best I’ve had anywhere. This place is excellent, and pizzas came out 5 minutes after we ordered. Cooked hot and fast. It’s a small restaurant, but service is fast and efficient. Despite the excellent quality, prices are extraordinarily cheap. Pizzas were small, so recommend one per person with an appetizer.
View on GoogleBest pizza and best pasta I’ve had in Japan , don’t go to the overhyped TikTok pizzas places , this is way better than all of them, and I woudl say even more memorable pizza/pasta than my Italy trip. The pizza dough did have a high amt of salt for me personally but still amazing !
View on GoogleIf you are looking for some good pizza, this place should be on your list! Not only is the pizza amazing, the appetizers like the ham & salami as well as fried corn was delicious! If you are in the mood for some wine and pizza, look no further! Crowd Size: Very High (Reservation Recommended) Serving Speed: Average Payment Method: Credit Card
