I’m wondering why I missed here for a long time... this place is one of the hidden gem in the Yakiniku domain around Gotanda station. Many options around there but Ohyama hanten is one of the best balanced Yakiniku restaurant referring to Price and Taste.

One of the best yakiniku places, try Soft Karibi Soup.

What I ordered: ・Assorted namul ¥800 ・Chorege salad ¥700 ・Harami ¥1500 ・Nakaochi kalbi ¥1200 ・Negi tan shio ¥1800 ・Nankotsu ¥950 The place was very crowded and lively, but the interior was classic and I could enjoy yakiniku at a relaxed pace. Almost everything is seasoned with tare, so it goes perfectly with rice. Each dish is quite a large portion, so I think it's best to order bit by bit and see how it goes! Thank you for the meal.

Yakiniku in Gotanda Went for dinner. Ordered kalbi, pig's feet, rice, and non-alcoholic beer. The kalbi has just the right marbling; grill it lightly and eat. Juicy! The pig's feet are boiled just right with a bit of chew, dipped in vinegared miso so you get that crunchy, tender texture. Reliably delicious. #Gotanda #GotandaGourmet #Gourmet #Gourmetstagram #TokyoGourmet #WantToConnectWithFoodLovers #WantToConnectWithYakinikuLovers #YakinikuRestaurant #Yakiniku

2 minutes' walk after the ticket gates at Gotanda Station, I'm dropping in at Ohyama Hanten! There's a big sign, so eye-catching anyone would notice it. When you go inside, it's a calm space like a café Most seats are 4-person tables, so you might lock eyes with other customers a bit, but don't mind it lol Sat down and ordered right away (this time I'm going with the lunch menu!) Loin, kalbi, harami, horumon: all the essential yakiniku cuts are calling out from the menu as if saying "order me." This time it's settled: the Harami Suji Lunch! There are bottles of alcohol on display on the shelves too, giving the place an even more upscale air Served in just 5 minutes The box isn't just meat and rice. Ohyama Hanten doesn't cut a single corner on the side dishes either. Loaded with bean sprout namul, kimchi, daikon and more. And they're so tasty too~. (These alone could finish off your white rice 💦) Grill the harami slowly. Watch the doneness. Timing is everything. Then dip it in the tare. Not too strong, a tare that's well balanced against the meat juices. Dive onto the rice and shovel it in. Meat→kimchi→meat→namul This is a rotation you must never forget! Never gets boring and no heavy stomach at all! As you can see in the photo, I got large portions of meat and rice this time, and it was super satisfying (recommended for those who want to eat a lot! 👍) Finish with wakame soup! Surprisingly light, it washes away your oil-coated tongue I drank the warm soup that seemed to say "No lingering on the aftertaste, come back next time!" and said thanks for the meal 🙏 This is a guaranteed repeat for sure 👍🔥 The price is just under 2,000 yen, which might feel pricey, but the taste exceeds the price, so in a word: worth it! Office workers on break, dropping by casually on a day off, or with family, be sure to give it a try 🤙
