Four-meter tall windows offer a clear view of the street in a space reminiscent of a New York lounge, featuring gentle blue wooden walls, soft chandelier lighting, and jazz playing in the background. The entrance houses a bar and bakery with limited counter seating, while the main dining area accommodates about 40 people with blue velour padded chairs. Staff are dressed smartly in black button-down shirts and aprons, providing efficient service. I arrived at noon with no wait, and the food was served less than five minutes after ordering. We tried the Honey Lemon Junzen Chicken with Bread (JPY 1,800) and the Gotta Burger (JPY 1,700). Both sets included a bowl of soup, likely minestrone. The chicken was tender but served slightly under lukewarm, with a consistency similar to a raw oyster; the seasoning was so subdued it was practically unnoticeable. The burger, served with fries and a slice of asparagus, featured a soft, lightly toasted bun with mustard, ketchup, and a well-melted patty with no gristle. The nicest touch was a slice of steamed white onion, which removed any harsh sharpness but added little flavor. It was a plain, inoffensive burger. While the environment is beautiful and the service is fine, the food is prosaic and difficult to recommend for the price.
View on GoogleThis cafe looks really stylish, but I didn't love the bakery and coffee experience. It's a bit odd that the dining and cafe areas are separate, and it was quite noisy in the dining section. The pastries seemed the same as another bakery across the street (and tasted a bit less fresh here).
View on GoogleVery nice restaurant for lunch. It has a very high ceiling which is rare in Tokyo. The food was not pure American, but some mixture with Italian and indeed tasty.
