What is tried: kacchi Biriyani What it really was: Delicious chicken pakki biriyani. If you don’t know the difference, you will not be disappointed. I was upset but it tasted good, so 😌. The volume was less for 1500 yen. I’m not a big eater and I had to order some other items because I was still hungry after the biriyani. The gravy was a lighter version of some curry they serve on normal set meals. So it was better than sweet melon curry juice. Also, don’t order desert, the Raita is 80% fruit custard without sugar.

The food is amazing! The owner is kind, and he loves to educate people about his food culture. The portions are large, and very affordable. I definitely recommend this store!

They have korma! Deeeelicious. I also love that they give you crispy papadum when you sit down. They also have puri bread as well as different types of naan. So rare to find this in Japan. Very good. What also makes this a really special place is the staff - they are super friendly that it creates a homey vibe. Very comfortable. I like how they offer rare Indian beers too.
