Definitely one of my favourite spots for yakiton whenever I'm in Musashikoyama! It's a small shop with a good local vibe and everything on the menu is so good. Their nikomi is one of the most delicious I've ever had, the nikumaki skewers are all seriously good and definitely try the mapo tofu! We went on a Saturday evening at 7:45 and the place was packed. Reservations definitely recommended as they were having to turn people away while we were there.

I have become a regular customer for Butahoshi for the past 3 years. Each time I come I enjoyed a lot for the excellent grilled pork innards, and delicious alcohol. The atmosphere is loud, but that’s what you will experience for a local Izakaya in Japan. Overall, love the place and would recommend anyone who seek to experience a true local Izakaya.

Very friendly staff, food that surprises in the best way. The menu is unassuming, but there are so many gems. The wrapped asparagus and the aubergine were especially good.

Reasonable drinks and foods. My personal favorite was not their speciality(everything was quite delicious though!!) but "French Fries with dried mullet roe"!!

Good skewers.
