Opened in 戸越銀座 as a sister restaurant of 麺屋武一, after the owner trained at 麺屋武一 and was allowed to establish an independent shop. 【3-minute walk from 戸越銀座】As a sister restaurant of the popular ramen shop leading the tori paitan boom with its “rich tori paitan broth,” made by simmering fresh chicken until thick, we proudly offer a thoroughly chicken-focused menu: not only rich tori paitan ramen made from directly passed-down recipes, but also chicken soba made with plenty of chicken bones, rice dishes, and individual dishes. Please feel free to drop by alone or with your family for our carefully crafted ramen, using every part of the chicken generously and concentrating its deliciousness.

I stopped by Men-ya Bifu while exploring Tokyo and had a satisfying ramen experience. The restaurant has a cozy, no-frills atmosphere with a mix of counter and table seating, giving it the feel of a neighborhood ramen shop where locals regularly drop by. Despite the compact space, service was efficient and the self-service ticket machine offered an English option, making ordering straightforward for visitors I tried the rich chicken soy sauce ramen, while my companion had the children’s ramen. The broth was creamy and full-bodied without being overwhelmingly heavy, with a pleasant chicken richness that paired well with the springy noodles. The toppings were fresh and thoughtfully presented, including tender chicken slices, seaweed, green onions, and wood ear mushrooms. The children’s ramen was a simpler but well-executed bowl with a lighter, comforting broth At ¥1,570 for both bowls combined, the meal offered excellent value for Tokyo. The restaurant was fairly busy during my visit, which speaks to its popularity, although seating can feel a little tight when crowded

Just enjoyed a delicious chicken tsukemen and barely had time to breathe as I slurped up every last drop. Really outstanding... and the two gents behind the counter were very gracious in showing me how to use the ticket machine. Means a lot as a foreigner to be treated with a little patience & understanding. Thanks for the excellent meal!

Chicken pan-fried dumplings are tasty, and the ramen noodles texture just perfect. However I’d like to complimented the staffs, two of them who were working at 20 Jul night, they were really nice and friendly to servers me.

incredibly delicious ramen. very friendly staff to a dumb foreigner (me) who didn't fully understand what to do at the machine to order. 100% recommend going there. :))
