Good chinese food. Maybe Average is a better word to describe it. Like you could eat the same thing in any chinese restaurant in japan. Being close to the ôimachi station is a plus. The staff is nice and the place is not so dirty. I’ve seen worst. 3 stars is the max for this kind of place.

As it is a famous shop for fried rice, I visited before opening on a weekday and there was already a line, but luckily I was able to get in on the first round. All the customers were ordering the famous shrimp fried rice, and when I watched them stir-frying the fried rice in the kitchen, they stir-fried the fried rice for everyone at once, then took it out and stir-fried it again one serving at a time, so it takes some time. When I tried it, it was a loose-grain type of fried rice with simple seasoning, and the texture of the deep-fried shrimp was a nice accent.

Revisited after several years. A friend of mine had visited recently and was impressed, and I had never taken my partner there. However, in terms of content and value for money, it was very disappointing. We laypeople somehow feel at ease when we see a chef cooking in front of our eyes. Here, that element is very strong, so perhaps we end up evaluating it with additional elements other than taste. I ate beef rolls with makomo bamboo shoots, spicy fried shrimp, fresh abalone and eggplant in oyster sauce, etc., but none of the dishes had a strong, distinct flavor, which was very disappointing. However, since it is run by a very friendly family, I hope they continue to improve their taste and ingredients.
