I happened to find this sushi restaurant when I was walking around there. I got Chirashi-Zushi and stewed chicken wings for takeaway. They were so delicious and affordable😋 I want to try other sushi and side dishes next time.

亀七寿司 Founded in Ebaramachi in 1950. The restaurant is now in new premises, following redevelopment of a section in front of Ebara Station into a high-rise building. The bright interior has 8 seats along a straight counter, as well as tables. The menu lists where the sushi toppings come from. That's a nice touch. 🟩Special lunch nigiri (1,330円 tax included) 7 pieces of nigiri, half a tekka roll, and soup. The white-vinegar-based sushi rice is sticky. The nigiri are small. 🟩Kohada from Kyushu (330円 tax included) The lunchtime kohada is lightly cured, but I like it this way too. Prepared side dishes are also sold at the shop facing the building's passageway. This is a long-established, community-focused sushi restaurant that also offers delivery.

A sushi restaurant right in front of Ebara Station. I visited for lunch. The seasoning of the vinegared rice is excellent. The toppings are fresh and delicious too. The simmered dishes aren't too strongly flavored and are pretty good. The restroom is clean and tidy. They have famous sake brands including Juyondai, and the staff's greetings and service are pleasant. They also sell various items for takeaway beside the restaurant. Recommended.

It's a sushi restaurant. A colleague treated me to a takeaway kaisendon (I think?) from here. I haven't been to the restaurant, so I don't know about the service or atmosphere. The seafood was arranged beautifully in a container about the size of a regular gyudon bowl and looked delicious. There were small amounts of various toppings, including tuna, octopus, and scallop meat, which made it enjoyable. The vinegared rice wasn't too strong either, which was nice. I finished it in no time. The portion is small, so I feel like I could eat about 3. The 3-star rating takes value for money into account; the taste is good.

I visited 亀七寿司 again after a long time. Neighborhood sushi restaurants are becoming scarce these days and are precious places. The season is gradually changing, and there were more spring-like dishes on the menu. I was happy to have hata at the end of its season and aoyagi at the start of its season. These days, many bars seem to boast about their sake selection and charge as much as 1,000円 for 90 milliliters, while here the more affordable sake is served at 700円 for 1 go. That considerate spirit makes me happy too. It's a useful place whether I'm having sushi as a meal or ordering snacks with drinks and having a few nigiri made.
