This was my first time eating here however I've been wanting to try it for a long time. Food was amazing. Everything tasted so good (but not as spicy). They did have chili on the tables to add to the spicy Ness. We ate the nasi goreng, nasi goreng terasi, satay, tumis kangkung. This was a lot for only 2 people but we finished it all. For dinner, each person has to order a drink. Next time, I might try their Solitary Gourmet set which includes rendang. Staff were nice. Restaurant looks old but it adds to the charm.
View on GoogleTried the Nasi Campur and enjoyed the variety of dishes included in one plate, making it a great option if you want to sample different flavors. A nice bonus is that you can adjust the rice portion to your preference, and extra rice is provided free of charge. The only downside was that the rice was a bit too soft for my liking. Other than that, the meal was satisfying and offered good value.
View on GoogleVisited this cozy little Indonesian restaurant yesterday and had a pleasant experience overall. The food was fresh and well-prepared. Some dishes were packed with flavor, while others felt more average. The service was quick and friendly, which added to the positive vibe of the place. Although the restaurant is small, it has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Portion sizes were just about okay, not too generous, and the pricing felt a bit on the higher side for the quantity offered. Still, it is a nice spot to try authentic Indonesian flavors in a quiet and comfortable setting.
View on GoogleVery good authentic Indonesian food, it made me miss home. Aside from the fantastic rendang, I recommend cendol as a sweet drink. Easy to communicate in English. It was so lovely meeting the people at Cabe. Belanda
View on GoogleWent to Cabe due to my craving of tasty Indonesian food and instantly love it! So excited to try their menu that we ended up ordered too much food for two people. It has wide variety of Indonesian menu and also strong herbs. The place is on the second floor and there is no elevator. If you want to bring kids/baby, better use baby carrier and avoid busy hours.
