I really liked the warmth of the owner. She was very understanding and went out of her way to offer me toast bread while l was waiting for her to cook. The restaurant has a cozy vibe and l loved the decoration. Food was delivered within reasonable time . The garri tasted perfectly like l would cook it but the okro was slightly different. I think the dried Ghanaian fish she added gave the tomato stew -like okro a smoky taste which l didn’t like. The portion was very small for the price. I will never go there again to eat African food. I might try other meals as she seemed to have a lot from different countries.
View on GoogleLovely African vibes in Tokyo ❤️ The chicken dishes are halal so it makes the place Muslim friendly too :)
View on GoogleVery delicious Ethnic food friendly staff reasonable price definitely come back again.
View on GoogleIt was very empty when we got here. We ordered two dishes. The oven grilled chicken was fine but the other dish with some fried egg on top (I forgot the dish name) was pretty bad. I had hope for much better food given the rating and was hugely disappointed. The menu of this place is crazy. They don't seem to know whether they want to be Thai, African, Chinese or a mix of everything?
View on GoogleOne of the rare African foods available in Tokyo. I was expecting non-authentic dishes but surprisingly it was exactly like how my African friends would cook. Just beware, when ordering African Paella, it may take some time before the dish would be served. Expect an hour max.
